When I was thinking about what wallpaper to create for June and the start of the summer months, I kept coming back to the rhythm of the waves and how they mirror the natural flow of breath. Steady. Grounding. Always returning.
Now that the weather’s warmer, I’ve been visiting the beach near me more often.. just to sit, breathe, and let everything slow down for a bit. That’s when this idea started to take shape. That quiet rhythm, the softness of the water, the way it holds space without asking for anything in return — that’s what June feels like to me. A return. And that’s what I wanted this mindful wallpaper for June to hold: a little bit of that calm, and a reminder to come back to yourself, too.
I created it to offer you a quiet moment in the middle of everything else. It’s for the days that feel like too much, the moments when you forget to breathe, and the gentle reminder that coming back to yourself doesn’t have to be a full meditation session.
The visuals are intentionally minimal: soft nostalgic movement, warm neutral tones, and room to just be. The text (if you’ve been around for a bit, you’ve probably noticed a pattern) is subtle and intentionally blended into the design. It’s not meant to stand out right away. It’s quiet on purpose. A little reminder meant just for you, waiting to be noticed in the moments you need it most.
